Free first, so you can be sure.
The whole of chapter one is yours before any money changes hands, so that nobody ever pays to find out what this is. It also means the payment that follows is a single, settled one — and this page explains what that does and does not mean.
The short version
- Chapter one is free, in full — the real thing, not a sample of it.
- One payment then opens the remaining chapters for both of you. Nothing recurs, so there is nothing to cancel.
- Once that payment is made, we are not able to return it. Chapter one is there so you can be sure before you decide.
- A charge that was duplicated, unauthorised, or that opened nothing is a different matter, and we will always put it right.
- If you paid inside an app store, that store’s own rules come first and they override this page.
Who you are paying
Prevow is a product of Moon Art Innovations Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office in Jalandhar, Punjab. We work from the IIM Ahmedabad Ventures Building in Ahmedabad, and that is the address to write to. We are backed by IIMA Ventures there, who are an investor in the company; the product is ours. That company is who your payment reaches, and who stands behind everything on this page.
Why chapter one is free
Most things ask you to pay and then find out. Prevow is built the other way round. Chapter one is the finished product: real questions, both of you answering alone, neither side opening until the two of you are done, and one line you write together at the end. Nothing is held back and nothing is a teaser.
By the time you reach the end of it you know exactly what the other nine chapters are, how they feel, and whether you want them. That is why this page can be as short as it is. A refund policy usually exists to cover the distance between what someone expected and what they received. We would rather close that distance before you pay than have to sort it out afterwards.
What one payment buys
- A single payment opens the remaining chapters for both partners. Either of you may make it; it only needs to happen once.
- There is no subscription. Nothing renews, and no future charge is scheduled against you.
- The price is shown to you before you pay, and taxes are applied where required.
- Payment is handled by a third-party processor. We never see or store your full card number.
Because nothing recurs, there is no billing to switch off and no renewal date to catch before it arrives.
There is nothing to cancel
You can pause the programme together, end the pairing, stop opening the app, or delete your account entirely. All four are yours to do at any time, and none of them is a cancellation in the billing sense, because there is nothing running to stop.
Deleting your account removes your answers, and it does not return the payment — so if there is anything in there you would like to keep, please export it before you go.
Once you have paid
We would rather be straightforward with you here than have you find it out later: once the payment is made, we are not able to return it. That holds whatever happens next.
We know that is a firm line, so here is the thinking behind it rather than just the rule. Prevow is a small thing made by a few people, and the whole of chapter one is given away so that nobody pays to find out what they are buying. That is only possible if the payment after it holds.
If something has actually gone wrong, rather than simply changed, the next section is the one you want.
The four things we will always put right
A firm policy is not a licence to keep money we were never owed. None of the four below is a favour we weigh up case by case — each one is a payment that went wrong, and we put it right without asking you to argue for it.
A duplicate charge
If you were charged twice for the same programme, the second charge comes back to you in full. Tell us and we will not ask you to prove it beyond the payment reference.
A charge you did not authorise
If a payment was taken from your card or account without your permission, tell us and tell your bank. We will return it and help you close off however it happened.
A payment that opened nothing
If the payment succeeded and the chapters did not open, that is our failure and not a change of mind. We fix the access first, because access is what you actually paid for. If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, we return the payment in full.
A right the law gives you
Where the law of your country gives you a refund right that cannot be signed away, that law wins over this page and we will honour it without argument. Nothing here is meant to take from you a protection you never chose to give up.
If you paid inside an app store
When a purchase is made through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, the money does not pass through us — the store is the seller of record. Refund requests for those purchases go to the store, under the store’s own rules and time limits, and the store’s decision is the one that counts. We cannot approve, refuse or reverse it, and we would rather tell you that now than send you back and forth.
If a store returns a purchase, access to the paid chapters ends for both partners. Write to us anyway if something has gone wrong; we can often get you to the right place faster.
When plans change
If your partner never joins
The payment opens the programme against your account, not against one particular invitation. If the person you invited never accepts, you can withdraw it and send the invitation to someone else; what you paid for stays open to you and waits. Nothing is lost, which is why an unaccepted invitation is not a refund case.
If the two of you separate
We are sorry, and we will not ask you why. We are not able to return the payment, but nothing you wrote is taken from you: your own answers remain yours to read, export or erase, and the terms describe the limited window in which shared material may be exported if you both agree to it.
If you simply stop
We put no expiry on the programme. It waits, in whatever state you left it, for as long as your account is open.
Price changes
The price may change for couples who have not yet paid. A change never reaches backwards. If the price falls after you paid, we do not return the difference; if it rises, you owe nothing further. The price you agreed to is the price.
If an account is closed
If we suspend or close an account for breaking the acceptable use policy — using Prevow to coerce, threaten or deceive someone, or attacking the parts of the system that hold other people’s answers — we are not able to return the payment. If you believe we have got it wrong, appeal: where an appeal succeeds we put the account back rather than settle it with money.
If we ever withdraw Prevow entirely, that is a different thing. We will give reasonable notice and a way to take your record with you, and where you paid recently and were left unable to use what you paid for, we will make that right.
Raising a problem with a charge
Write to prevow.app@gmail.com within thirty days of the charge and tell us four things:
- The email address or phone number on the account.
- The date and the amount of the charge.
- The payment reference from your bank, your card statement or the app store.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
We acknowledge every message about money within two working days and aim to close it within thirty. A person reads it; there is no ticket queue and no automatic reply.
How money comes back, if it is due
Always to the method that paid. We do not send a refund to a different card, a different account or a wallet, because that is how money goes missing. Once approved, we release it within five working days. Your bank or card issuer then takes its own time on top, commonly a further five to ten. Taxes collected on the original payment come back with it, and we deduct no handling fee.
Before you raise a chargeback
If a payment has gone wrong, one message to us is usually faster than a dispute through your bank, and it gets you a person rather than a form. A chargeback opened before you have written to us also suspends access while the bank investigates, which helps neither of us. So please write first — almost everything here is fixable by someone reading a message.
Grievance and escalation
If our answer does not settle it, say so in the same thread and ask for it to be escalated. It goes to a named person rather than back into the same queue.

If we still have not put it right, you keep every right the consumer law of your country gives you, including the right to take the matter to the appropriate authority or forum. Nothing on this page removes that, and we would not think less of you for using it.
Changes to this policy
The version in force on the day you paid is the version that governs your payment. If we change this page, the date below changes with it, and anything material is announced inside the product rather than edited in quietly.
Asking us something
Everything goes to one place: prevow.app@gmail.com. If a line on this page is unclear, tell us which one. We would rather rewrite it than defend it.
